Abstract

The respondent wanted to terminate the contracts of the applicants because they were putting posters on polls and areas not demarcated for that. As the Council had argued they should only do so on areas zoned for that. The Council was told by court to not repudiate and terminate the binding contracts as the companies had been abiding on the said terms.
