Takes note of the work by the Secretariat to support parties in implementing the technical guidelines for the environmentally sound management of wastes consisting of, containing or contaminated with persistent organic pollutants, in collaboration with the Secretariat of the Basel Convention on the Control of Transboundary Movements of Hazardous Wastes and Their Disposal;
