As referred to in document UNEP/POPS/POPRC.8/6, the Chair of the Persistent Organic Pollutants Review Committee, Mr. Reiner Arndt (Germany), has prepared a draft discussion paper on issues and common practices in the application of the Annex E criteria. The draft paper, which has not been formally edited, is set out in the annex to the present note.
