Pursuant to relevant European Community legislation, this Act lays down several amendments to the Veterinary Act. The amended provisions concern: breeders' obligations; transport of animals; prevention of animal diseases; veterinary health requirements for food of animal origin; veterinary inspection on food of animal origin; obligations in the field of production or processing of food of animal origin; veterinary conditions for the importation, exportation, transit and marketing of animals and
