Part 1 of the present Act contains an Act implementing the Council Regulation (EC) No 820/97 establishing a system for the identification and registration of bovine animals and criteria for the labelling of beef and beef products, particularly in regard of electronic available data. Article 2 deals with processing and use of data on behalf of the competent authorities and article 3 specifies the rights of animal owners. The Ordinance consists of 6 articles.
