The Act has the purpose to set regulations on providing loans to Danish fisheries and aquaculture activities through the Kingdom of Denmark Fishing Bank. The institution's administrative composition is of six members, of which five representing the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries and one representing the Ministry of Finance for the duration of 4 years.
