The present Act has been adopted in order to regulate, inter alia, the use of herbicidals and geodisinfectants for agricultural purposes, so as to guarantee the proper use of such phytosanitary products, in compliance with article 3 of Legislative Decree No. 194 of 1995. Firstly, article 2 lays down the definition of the phytosanitary products which fall within the application scope of this Act.
