These amendments implement provisions of Council Directive 91/628/EEC relative to the breeding of animals and their transportation. By a an Order in Council certain categories of animals may be subject to regulation of stockbreeding of those animals, registration, identification and certification of those animals, investigation by the breeder of defects of the animals that may possibly harm their health or may affect their offspring.
