This Act establishes the National Policy of Environmental Research and Education. It consists of 4 Chapters specifying procedures in order to enforce the promotion of environmental policy which shall be carried out by public and private institutions involved within the National System of Environment - Sisnama. Environmental education (chap. 1); The national policy for environmental education (chap. 2); Enforcement of the policy for environmental education (chap. 3); Final provisions (chap. 4).
