This Act establishes a control system, prohibiting toxic wastes discharge by vessels or establishments into the waters under Brazilian jurisdiction. It consists of 6 Chapters establishing the basic principles to be satisfied in order to transport and discharge oil, harmful substance or toxic waste from harbours, port facilities, platforms and vessels into the waters under Brazilian jurisdiction. This Act is divided as follows: Definition and classification (chap. 1); Systems of prevention contro
