This Act makes provision with relation to municipal waterworks including drainage and sewerage systems, the approval of other systems that are not owned by the municipality, and connection to public sewerage and water supply systems. Sections 1 to 3 define "public water supply and drainage system" (sect. 1), "water procurement" (sect. 2), and "the public water supply and drainage sector"(sect. 3). Approval of systems not owned by the municipality shall be in accordance with section 4.
