The purpose of these Measures is to ensure the basic medical services for farmers and herdsmen, and to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the cooperative medical participants in the new rural pastoral areas. The Measures consist of 61 Articles divided into 8 chapters: General Provisions; Participants; Fund Raising and Administration; New-style Rural Cooperative Medical Care Authorized Institutions; Safeguards and Supervision; Legal Liabilities; Supplementary Provisions.
