This Act: makes provision for the appointment of the Administrator-General for Jamaica by the Governor-General; defines functions and powers of the Administrator-General and provides with respect to the functioning of the Administrator-General and relevant judicial and administrative procedures, especially in respect of the administration of estates. The Administrator-General shall apply for letters of administration relative to the estates of all persons who shall die intestate and without heir
