The Parties have agreed that the Federal Hydrometeorological and Environmental Monitoring Service shall carry out on the territory of St.Petersburg environmental pollution monitoring, including radioactive pollution, for the purpose of data collection with a view to carry out a series of arrangements for the assessment and rational management of natural resources, prevention of natural disasters and mitigation of the consequences thereof.
