This Act applies to all lands within Trinidad and Tobago except to urban areas designated by the Minister pursuant to section 3. The Minister shall appoint a Chief Fire Officer and for every county at least one County Fire Control Officer (sect. 4). The Minister may also establish a Fire Advisory Committee in a county.
