This Order delegates to the Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture and Food all the powers and duties of the Minister for Agriculture and Food conferred on him by or under the Acts specified in the Schedule 1 to this Order and under the regulations and orders specified in the Schedule 2 to this Order. The Act and regulations concern plant protection, planting material, food safety, animal breeding and other issued pertaining to food and agriculture.
