These Regulations amend the Animals and Animal Products (Import and Export) (Wales) Regulations 2006 to give effect to the extension of the European Union ban under Commission Decision 2005/760/EC on the import of captive birds from third countries. They also update references to “veterinary inspector” in regulations 16, 19 and 21 and make minor adjustments and corrections to other provisions in the principal Regulations.
