The principal Regulations implement Council Regulation 1765/92, which establishes a support system for producers of certain arable crops The effect of the amendment made by these Regulations is that references in the principal Regulations to a Community instrument are to that instrument as amended at the date that the Arable Area Payments (Amendment) Regulations 1998 were made.
