The Awash Basin Water Resources Administration Agency is established as an autonomous Federal Government Organ that shall be accountable to the Minister of Water Resources. The objectives of the Agency shall be to co-ordinate, administer, allocate and regulate the utilization of the surface water resources of the Awash River Basin.
