This Order, made pursuant article 5 of the Agriculture (Guaranteed Prices and Financial Assistance) (Jersey) Law 1965, allows the Minister to make contributions to occupiers in respect of the basic slag and lime in specified forms. Contributions can only be made for basic slag or lime purchased from suppliers approved, subject to certain requirements, by the Minister under this Order. The Minister may give directions to an occupier for the economical use of basic slag or lime.
