These Regulations amend the Beet Seeds Regulations 1993 but apply to Wales only. The amendments give effect to the Council Directives 98/95/EC and 98/96/EC which amended Directives in respect of the marketing of seeds and the common catalogue of varieties of agricultural plant species.
