The present Law lays down provisions relating to the promotion of an economical, environment-friendly and socially acceptable energy supply and energy use in the Land Berlin. The text consists of 30 articles divided into 7 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Measures of the Land Berlin to save energy (II); Promotion measures (III); Measures concerning the reorganization of the energy sector (IV); Other measures concerning the saving of energy (V); Penalties (VI); Final provisions (VII).
