These Regulations provide for the management of fisheries for blue ling by Irish sea-fishing boats in ICES sub-areas VI and VII. The master of an Irish sea-fishing boat shall not engage in or cause or permit any person on board to engage in fishing for blue ling in the specified area and a boat shall not have blue ling on board or tranship blue ling within the specified area.
