These Regulations make provision for the slaughter of offspring of bovine animals born after 1st August 1996 to dams in which B has been confirmed. This slaughter programme is prescribed in by Community legislation as a requirement for the despatch from the United Kingdom of the fresh meat and products under the date based export scheme.
