The Regulation prescribes the procedures for the combating and limiting of the spread of potato ring rot. According to the document, potato ring rot is caused by a quarantine organism Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. sepedonicus. In order to detect potato ring rot, the Regulation authorizes the State Plant Protection Service to undertake series of measures and imposes obligations on natural and legal persons to the same end.
