This Chapter provides for the control and prevention of straying pigs. The Chapter grants powers to the police to seize pigs, specifies rules for the claiming of ownership of pigs and the disposal of unclaimed animals and provides for the award of compensation for damage created by straying pigs. The Administrator of the Division of Livestock Production and Research shall issue Regulations regarding the keeping of pigs.
