This Chapter requires the Development Review Commission, by Regulation, to declare endangered species and to provide for their protection. It also prohibits the bringing into the State of a bird of the psittacine family, including a parrot, parakeet, or love bird, without specific period approval in each case by the Department of Health Services. The Department may order a bird kept in violation of this Chpater to be removed from the State or destroyed.
