This Chapter aims at preventing and reducing nuisance created by animals at large. Livestock animals shall not run loose in public places. Animals may be impounded and sold if they are not claimed within a specified period by the owner. The Chapter also prohibits an owner or occupant to keep livestock animals specified in this Chapter within 50 feet of any building used for human habitation without written authorization from the State Sanitarian.
