Chapter 3 of Title 26 of the Pohnpei State Code - Soil and Water Conservation Act of 1992.

The object of this Act is to promote soil and water conservation by preventing erosion and thus conserving and improving the use of the State’s land and water resources. For this purpose a Pohnpei Soil and Water Conservation District is established which shall be administered and managed by the Department of Land and Natural Resources and the Soil and Water Conservation Board, also established by this Act.
