This Chapter makes provision for the monitoring, control and surveillance by the Department of Agriculture, Land and Fisheries and authorized officers and observers of fishing activities in fishery waters of the State of Kosrae. The Department may appoint authorized officers for ensuring compliance with fishery legislation and observers for purposes of monitoring compliance. The Chapter further specifies powers of officers and observers and provides with respect to hot pursuit.
