This Act provides for the development of business in the State of Pohnpei and in particular small- and medium-scale enterprises and “cottage”. For purposes of the Act, the Small Enterprise Development Council, the Pohnpei Entrepreneur Development Centre, an entrepreneur development fund and the Small Business Guarantee and Finance Corporation are created.
