The present Model Law establishes legal norms of existence of state policy of rising up efficiency of use of energy as well as legal norms for creation and functioning of institutional, economic and information mechanisms of the realization of the aforesaid policy. The document consists of 8 chapters that contain 27 articles. Chapter 1 (arts. 1-4) lays down general provisions. Chapter 2 (arts. 5-11) establishes the basis of state management of energy saving. Chapter 3 (arts. 12-15) regards stand
