These Regulations amend the Climate Change Levy (General) Regulations 2001 in regulation 4, which provides, for the calculation of the quantitative limit. It requires for supplies by a station to a utility or for a domestic or non-business use of a charity to be disregarded, but also requires the electrical equivalent of any mechanical output of the station produced otherwise than for the purpose of generating electricity to be included. Regulation 7 (transitional proivisions) is revoked.
