This Regulation implements the Coal Mines Regulation Act 1982 by providing specifications on the management of mines, the application of codes and standards, fire control and emergency systems, plant safety, mining officials (Part 3), qualifications of inspectors and mine surveyors (Part 5), and on surveys and plans of mines (Part 7).
