The present Decision establishes the requirements for the approval of border inspection posts responsible for veterinary checks on products introduced into the Community from third countries. All border inspection posts must, in order to be approved and to maintain approval, provide the facilities, personnel, equipment, and operate the procedures in the posts, as specified in this Decision. The Annex attached describes with detail the requirements to be met by inspection posts to be approved.
