The present Decision contains the first list of formally adopted Natura 2000 sites. The list contained in the Annex to this Decision shall constitute the list of sites of Community importance for the Macaronesian biogeographical region as provided for in the third subparagraph of article 4 (2) of Directive 92/43/EEC.
