The present Directive lays down some amendments to Council Directive 2000/29/EC with respect to the products and plant products the introduction of which shall be banned by Member States and the special requirements which must be laid down by all Member States for the introduction and movement of plants, plant products and other objects into and within all Member States. In particular, Annexes I, II, III and IV to Directive 2000/29/EC are amended in accordance with the Annex to this Directive.
