This Regulation lays down provisions concerning the import of feed and food originating in or consigned from Japan following the accident at the Fukushima nuclear power station. Products which left Japan before 28 March 2011 as well as products which have been harvested or processed before 11 March 2011 are excluded from the applications scope. The conditions include maximum levels of caesium-134 and caesium-137, and declarations that must accompany each consignment.
