The Commission has hereby laid down particular recommendations to Member States as regards the reduction of (i) poorly biodegradable ingredients in detergents; (ii) the consumption of detergents and their packaging, with a view to lowering the general environmental impact related to detergents; (iii) washing temperatures, in order to decrease energy consumption and thus CO2 emissions. The Annex attached to the Recommendation concerns the collection of relevant data and the monitoring of the impl
