The European Commission has adopted the present Regulation to implement article 7 of the Agreement between the European Community and the United States of America on trade in wine, particularly as regards names of origin. The United States names of origin listed in the Annex hereby attached may be used as names of origin for wine only to designate wines of the origin indicated by such name. The competent authorities of the Member States shall take measures to ensure that any wine not labelled in
