The Law ratifies the Ramsar Convention on wetlands and sets into force the Ministerial Decree No. 52500 (18 October 2000) implementing the Convention (1971) as amended by the Paris Protocol of 3 December 1982 and the Regina Amendments of 28 May 1987.
