This Decision sets out a general framework for the establishment of the Regional Advisory Councils envisaged by Regulation (EC) No. 2371/2002, under which the Common Fisheries Policy is laid down. In particular, a Regional Advisory Council is to be established for each of the following: (a) the Baltic Sea; (b) the Mediterranean Sea; (c) the North Sea; (d) north-western waters; (e) south-western waters; (f) pelagic stocks; (g) high seas/long distance fleet.
