The present Directive lays down amendments and addenda to Directive 2000/29/EC which sets out the Community plant health regime. Articles 1, 2 (1), 3, 10, 12, 13, 16, 18 and 21 shall be amended as set out in article 1 of this Directive. On the other hand, articles 7, 8, 9, 17 and 19 shall be repealed. Lastly, Annex VIIIa shall be inserted after Annex VIII.
