The present Regulation lays down technical measures which are additional to those contained in Regulation 850/98/EC and shall apply solely to the Irish Sea (ICES Division VIIa as defined in Regulation 3880/91/EEC). Article 2 of this Regulation determines the types of demersal towed nets which may not be used when fishing in the Irish Sea.
