The present Regulation establishes principles and procedures for fishery management, so that Member States can ensure the management of the vessels flying their flag. These provisions fix fishing opportunities for the year 2006, for certain fish stocks and groups of fish stocks, and the associated conditions under which such fishing opportunities may be used.
