This Regulation applies to Community fishing vessels which take and retain on board fish from marine living resources of the area south of 60° South latitude and of the area between that latitude and the Antarctic convergence which forms part of the Antarctic marine ecosystem with the exception of waters subject to such coastal State jurisdiction as may exist in accordance with international law.
