This Act regulates the trade in crocodiles and parts of crocodiles and, summarily, the taking and killing of crocodiles and breeding of crocodiles. Acquiring and exporting crocodiles requires a licence to be granted by the Minister under section 5. Regulations to be made by the Minister under this Act may prohibit or restrict the taking, killing, possession, acquiring, disposal or exporting of crocodiles.
