The Dairy Research and Development Corporation is declared to be established in respect of the dairy industry as a RD Corporation in the sense of the Primary Industries and Energy Research and Development Act 1989. For the purposes of paragraph 5(1)(a) of the Act, the research levy imposed by subsection 5(1) of the Dairy Produce Levy (No. 1) Act 1986 is attached to the Corporation.
