These Regulations lay down provisions governing the classification, packaging, labelling and marketing of dangerous preparations. The aim is to prevent hazards presented by dangerous preparations and substances and to protect the environment and human health. The Regulations classify substances as per categories of danger and lay down methods for evaluating their properties and health hazards.
