Decision No. 184/2006/QD-TTg approving the national plan on implementation of the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants.

This Decision lays down objectives, tasks and solutions for approving the national plan to implement the commitments to the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs). POPs are extremely toxic chemicals which persist in the environment causing serious harm to human health, biodiversity and the environment. The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment shall assume the prime responsibility for organizing the implementation of the plan.
